And the winner is... MN Girls' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Rachel Kelly, Northfield. The senior finished the week with two double-doubles in three games, with her peak performance coming in a 75-63 loss to Rochester John Marshall on Feb. 16. She recorded 24 points, 11 boards, and three blocks in the loss.

Top performer candidates

Shyanne Loiland, Crosby-Ironton. Loiland scored 19 or more points in three separate games last week. Her best outing came against Staples-Motley on Feb. 15, when she had a complete performance — recording 24 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocks in a 66-40 victory.

Anna Olson, Monticello. In a tight 60-53 loss at Princeton on Feb. 15, the Magic's forward totaled 25 points, 18 boards and three blocks. The junior is averaging 17.6 points per game this season.  

Ysareia Chevre, Simley. The forward led Simley to a 53-48 win over Mahtomedi on Feb. 12. Chevre had 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals for the Spartans, who are the No. 9 team in the Class 3A rankings released by Minnesota Basketball News on Feb. 13. 

Kacie Borowicz, Roseau. Borowicz led her team to two victories last week with two big scoring nights. She scored 25 points against Thief River Falls on Feb. 12 and had 33 points two days later versus Badger-Greenbush Middle River.

Jamelia Wright, Minneapolis Roosevelt. Wright reached 23 points in Minneapolis Roosevelt's 58-52 victory over St. Paul Academy on Feb. 11. The senior forward is averaging 15.6 points per game. 

Carla Meyer, Totino-Grace. Meyer's scoring guided her squad to a 2-0 record last week. She scored 19 points to push Totino-Grace past Spring Lake on Feb. 13, then finished with 31 points in a 68-50 win over Osseo two days later. 

Lariah Washington, St. Cloud Apollo. Washington surpassed 30 points twice last week to lead St. Cloud Apollo to two wins. Her best outing came in a 64-47 win over Sartell-St. Stephen on Feb. 12, when she posted 34 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals.

Charis Blacklock, Moose Lake-Willow River. Blacklock went for 20 points and 10 rebounds in the Rebels' 64-41 win against Barnum on Feb. 14. The senior's double-doubled helped snap the Rebels' three-game skid.

Macy Guebert, Eastview. Eastview extended its winning streak to five games behind Guebert's 30-point performance, which powered the No. 9-4A Lightning to a 79-57 victory at Burnsville on Feb. 16.
