Kenisha Bell, who will be a sophomore guard for the Bloomington Kennedy girls' basketball team this season, has committed to the Gophers.

The 5-9 Bell averaged 7.1 points per game for the Eagles (16-10) as a ninth-grader. This summer her 14-and-under North Tartan teams won an AAU national title and lost in overtime in the championship game of the Nike nationals.

"She's fast, quick and anticipates," Kennedy coach Percy Wade said, "and her upside is phenomenal."
