Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.

Top Performer winner

Frannie Hottinger, Cretin-Derham Hall. One of the leading scorers in the state continued to produce for her team. Hottinger, Cretin-Derham Hall's all-time leading scorer with over 1,600 points, registered a pair of double-doubles last week. She recorded 26 points and 11 rebounds in a 64-62 loss at Eden Prairie on Feb. 6, then went for 35 points with 11 boards two days later to take down Mounds View 69-60.

Top performer candidates

Jordyn Glynn, Grand Meadow. Glynn scored 20 or more points in three wins last week to help Grand Meadow remain unbeaten this season. Her best showing came on Feb. 4, against Lewiston-Altura, when the senior put in 25 points and 10 rebounds in a 60-34 win.

Lindsey Smitsdorff, Legacy Christian. After Legacy Christian suffered two straight losses, Smitsdorff asserted herself by recording 23 points, 12 boards, three assists, two steals and two blocks to beat Trinity 52-31 on Feb. 9.

Solana Cushing, Minneapolis South. Cushing scored 35 points in a win over Minneapolis Washburn on Feb. 5. The win extended Minneapolis South's unbeaten streak to four.

Grace Kirk, Duluth Marshall. The junior proved to be too much for Duluth Denfeld's defense in a 99-46 victory for the Hilltoppers. Kirk finished with 49 points — outscoring the opposing team by herself — in the Feb. 5 contest.

Taylor McAulay, Centennial. Centennial, ranked No. 10 in Class 4A by Minnesota Basketball News, got production from its senior guard last week. McAulay posted a near triple-double with 38 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in a 99-72 win at Osseo on Feb. 5. Centennial now rides a nine-game winning streak.

Adalia McKenzie, Park Center. Coon Rapids couldn't stop the sophomore forward on Feb. 5, as McKenzie reached 42 points to lead No. 5-4A Park Center to an 82-41 win. She is one of the top five scorers in the state this season with 589 points.

Cate Moe, Blake. Moe's efforts guided Blake to a 1-1 record last week. She recorded 19 points, six rebounds, six assists, seven steals and two blocks in a 54-32 win at Breck on Feb. 8. The sophomore then came up with 26 points the next day in a 65-54  loss to Mayer Lutheran.

Taylie Scott, Heritage Christian. Twenty-one points, 10 rebounds, six assists and seven steals from Scott powered Heritage Christian to a 73-36 victory at Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity on Feb. 5. She scored 21 in her next outing, helping down Spectrum 59-44 on Feb. 9.

Lauren Jensen, Lakeville North. Jensen had a pair of big scoring nights to lead the Panthers to two wins last week. The Lakeville North guard scored 43 points to help edge Burnsville 74-70 on Feb. 5. She followed that three days later with a 29-point performance, as the Panthers downed Eagan 72-52.
