And the winner is... MN Girls' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the Top Performer for Dec. 26-29

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Caitlin Rorman, Blue Earth. Blue Earth was in good hands in its 63-45 win against United South Central on Dec. 28, as Rorman scored 35 points, grabbed eight boards and recorded seven steals.

Top performer candidates

McKenna Hofschild, Prior Lake. In three games in three consecutive days last week, Hofschild averaged more than 24 points. Prior Lake's third win of the week, at Grand Rapids on Dec. 29, saw the senior score 25 points, dish five assists and grab six steals.

Adalia McKenzie, Park Center. McKenzie's scoring helped Park Center go 2-0 during the short week. She scored 30 points in a 77-48 win over Lakeville North on Dec. 27 and 17 points the next night in a victory against Minnetonka. 

Myia Ruzek, Lewiston-Altura. The junior guard scored 57 points between two games last week, including a 38-point outing in a 48-32 win over Lanesboro on Dec. 26. Ruzek also grabbed 10 rebounds and five assists in the win.

Ellie Hasz, Pine City. Hasz led the scoring in both of Pine City's wins last week — scoring 18 and 34 points, respectively. Along with the 34 points at Sartell-St. Stephen on Dec. 28 (a 70-52 win), the sophomore snagged eight rebounds and forced four steals.

Hayden Glander, Norwood-Young America. The sophomore forward exploded for 19 and 24 points in Norwood-Young America's two games last week. She also recorded eight rebounds and five blocks in a loss to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Dec. 28.
