Eastview High School Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Athletics Matt Percival has announced the hiring of Melissa Guebert as Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2011-12 season. 

Guebert will replace the only head coach in school history, Paul Goetz, who has resigned from his head coaching duties to allow him the opportunity to watch his son play high school basketball at Rosemount. 

Coach Goetz will remain on the staff as a Varsity Assistant. During Coach Goetz’s fourteen years as head coach the Lightning have earned five conference championships, four section championships, two state runner-up and two state third place finishes.
