Five southwest Minnesota girls earn all-state honors

45 players in the state named to four teams by Coaches' Association

Five area players were named to one of four Minnesota Girls’ Basketball Coaches’ Association All-State teams, a recognition presented to only 45 players in the entire state.

Worthington’s Martha Alwal represented the area by being named to the Class 3A all-state team. Fulda’s Courtney Hulstein and Adrian’s Karli Meyer were the two area players named to the Class 1A all-state team and Jackson County Central’s Whitney Burmeister and Pipestone Area’s Bree Woelber were the area’s two representatives on the Class 2A team.
