• SECTION 4: Hill-Murray will look to improve on last season’s runner-up state finish, following a 51-19 win over South St. Paul. Hill-Murray led 27-8 at halftime, and was led by senior guard Corrine McCallum’s 18 points.
• SECTION 6: No. 3 seed Orono had an upset in the making, claiming a 22-20 lead at halftime, but Benilde-St. Margaret’s came back strong, advancing to the state tournament with a 45-37 win. Junior forward Olivia Antilla paced the Red Knights with 16 points, while junior guard Amie Tunheim finished with 15 points for the Spartans.
