After trailing for nearly all of the first 35 minutes of the Class 1A, Section 3 South championship game Friday night, top-seeded Fulda rallied to score seven straight points in the final 52 seconds and prevailed with an exciting 38-34 victory over second-seed Adrian.
Fulda, which improves to 23-6 with the sub-section championship victory, advances to the Section 3 title game for the first time since 2007.
The Raiders will now take on the North’s top-seeded Minneota Vikings (24-1 record, 51-40 sub-section championship victory over second-seeded Canby) at 5 p.m. Friday in Marshall.
