Royals win a pair, prepare for showdown
Good teams get back up after they stumble, and that's exactly what the Hopkins girls' basketball team has done the past two weeks.
The Royals suffered their only defeat of the season back on Feb. 1 when the Eden Prairie Eagles wrestled away the No. 1 ranking from the Royals with a 71-65 victory at EPHS. After posting victories over Minnetonka and Edina last week, the Royals have put themselves in position to reclaim a share of first place in the Lake Conference this week when it hosts the Eagles on Friday, Feb. 18.
