Hopkins girls swat Hornets for 17th straight
Hopkins enters the zone winning Lake Conference opener over Edina
In all the years the Hopkins High girls basketball team has played Edina, the Hornets have come out playing man-to-man defense. But in the Lake Conference opener Jan. 25 at Hopkins, Edina head coach Matt Nilsen came out with a new wrinkle - a zone.
