Islanders cruise

DELASALLE 65, BLAKE 26: The Class 3A, No. 2 Islanders rolled to the Tri-Metro win behind a team-high 15 points from Tyseanna Johnson and 13 points each from Allina Starr and Mariah Adanene. De La Salle led 36-13 at halftime.

ROCKFORD 59, MAPLE LAKE 58: Rockford held a 30-21 halftime advantage and was able to hang on for the Central Minnesota conference win. Senior Jacqueline Lommen’s made free-throw with 20 seconds remaining proved to be the game winner after two Irish shots missed in the final seconds. Junior Shannon Ritten led the Rockets with 22 points, while Lommen added 17. Maple Lake junior Brooke Decker led all scorers with 27 points.

ARMSTRONG 46, ANDOVER 39: The Falcons led by one at halftime, but distanced themselves in the second half, and were led by junior forward Kari Fossum with 10 points. Senior guard Kara Hofschild led all scorers with 21 points for the host Huskies.

HENRY SIBLEY 57, ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 55: Senior Kayla Hulsebus poured in a season-high 31 points for the Crusaders in a losing effort. Seniors Jill Gangl and Jessica Kreuser each scored 17 points for the Warriors.
