Big plays by Mackenzie Gerber and Sarah Cham helped the Worthington Trojans outscore the Redwood Valley Cardinals 12-6 in the final five minutes Thursday night and claim a 55-49 victory in a Southwest Conference.

Gerber and Cham combined to score all 12 Trojan points in that span, finishing with 20 of Worthington’s 30 second-half points to fend off a feisty effort from Redwood Valley.
