Wayzata junior Kayla Timmerman commits to Iowa

She's averaging 14.7 points per game this season

Wayzata junior Kayla Timmerman, a three-year starter averaging 14.7 ppg this year, has made a verbal commitment to The University of Iowa.

Timmerman, who helped the Trojans reach last year's state tournament, has also played basketball for the Minnesota Stars AAU program for the last three seasons.

“I am excited to play with a team like Iowa that is consistently in the top 20 ranking for women’s basketball each year," Timmerman said.
