Player of the Week Candidates for Jan.30-Feb. 4

This week's winner

Sydney Zgutowicz, St. Francis. The junior put up 22 points, 11 rebounds and two assists in a 62-48 win over Mississippi 8 Conference foe Chisago Lakes.

The other candidates

Kiley Borowicz, Roseau. The senior guard finished with 30 points, 18 rebounds and eight assists as the No.1-2A Rams defeated No.1-1A Mountain Iron-Buhl 80-67. Borowicz is ranked second in state with 528 points.

Krystal Carlson, Hastings. The junior forward recorded 21 points, 15 rebounds and two assists in the Raiders’ 54-50 loss to Hill-Murray.

Lanie Cox, Cambridge-Isanti. The senior forward tallied 29 points and 10 rebounds in a 68-55 loss to Buffalo.

Taylor Kingston, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle. The junior guard scored 27 points in a 64-47 loss to Albany.

Erin Navratil, Albany. The senior forward contributed 27 points in a 73-54 win over Granite Ridge Conference opponent Foley.

Kya Phillips, Cristo Rey Jesuit. The sophomore guard posted huge numbers in a 67-40 win over Hope Academy. She finished with 43 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists.

Madi Radtke, Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity. In a 71-35 win over Trinity, the senior guard scored 30 points.

Lyndsey Robson, Apple Valley. The senior guard tallied 33 points in a 75-60 win over Burnsville, which improved the No. 3-4A Eagles' record to 17-2.

Abby Slater, Anoka. The senior forward and Sioux Falls commit recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 45-26 win over Coon Rapids.
