Mounds View upsets No. 1 Braham

MOUNDS VIEW 68, BRAHAM 63 (OT): The Mustangs rallied from a deficit in the final minute to force overtime, and then controlled the extra session to beat the Class 2A, No. 1 Bombers in the championship of their own tournament. Mounds View sent it to overtime when Alexa Patnode saved an errant shot from going out of bounds to Stephanie Kaczynski, who laid the ball in at the buzzer. Rachel Parupsky led the Mustangs with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Braham sophomore Rebecca Dahlman scored a game-high 31 points.

PROVIDENCE ACADEMY 51, WATERTOWN-MAYER 50: AnneMarie Healy knocked down a turnaround jump shot over a double team with 5 seconds left, lifting the Lions over the Royals in the quarterfinals of the Monticello tournament. Healy finished with 16 points.
