Mounds View Tournament • Semifinals

MOUNDS VIEW 51, ST. ANTHONY 37: Senior guard Allison McKee led all scorers with 15 points to propel Mounds View into the championship game of its holiday tournament. Mustangs senior Kelsey Bethke chipped in 12 points St. Anthony was led by 12 points from Lauren Gordhamer.

BRAHAM 79, IRONDALE 43: Leading by eight points at halftime, Braham outscored Irondale 44-18 in the second frame to cruise to the championship game of the Mounds View tournament. Braham was led by standout sophomore Rebekah Dahlman, who led her team with 35 points, and junior Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow, who added 23.

RICHFIELD TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS

RICHFIELD 81, BURNSVILLE 64: Richfield center Bryann Guyton tallied a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds as the Spartans eased by Burnsville and into the title game of its holiday tournament. Richfield sophomore guard Jessica January led all scorers with 27 points and junior Hannah Wise added 18, while Burnsville was paced by Jermisha Watson’s 17.

APPLE VALLEY 65, BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 57: Apple Valley locked down defensively in the second half to push itself into the championship game of the Richfield holiday tournament. Locked at 33 at the half, the Eagles outscored Jefferson 32-24 in the second, with junior Destiny Scott leading the way with 18 points. Senior Jordann Sammons added 17 for Apple Valley. Jefferson was led freshman Gabby Smith with 17 points.
