Mariah Sexe reached a career milestone and help East Ridge edge Park Center 55-51 in a battle between highly touted teams Saturday at the Breakdown Sports Tip Off Classic.
The 6-foot-1 senior center scored her 1,000 career point and finished with a game-high 15 points to lead the Raptors (2-1), No. 6 in the Minnesota Basketball News Class 4A rankings.
Senior guard Noelle Tomes added 12 points for East Ridge.
Junior guard Sommer Blakemore led the No. 3-4A Pirates (1-1) with 12 points and senior forward Mikayla Hayes chipped in 10.
