Last weekend's crippling snowstorm forced nearly every sporting event in the Twin Cities to be canceled or postponed. That included the Tip-Off Classic at Minnetonka High School, which now will be played Jan. 22.

The 13-game boys' basketball slate was to be a collection of some of the best talent around. Apple Valley, Eastview, Lakeville South and Shakopee were all scheduled to compete.

Organizers of the event are hoping most – if not all – of the same teams can participate in next month's tournament, but scheduling conflicts are a given.
