Eden Prairie rolls with Uhl in the lineup

• EDEN PRAIRIE 83, ORONO 61: The Eagles are a different team with Taylor Uhl on the court. The senior guard had 19 points to complement junior forward Jackie Johnson’s game-high 26 points as the Eagles downed the Spartans in nonconference play Tuesday night in Eden Prairie. The Eagles were coming off a 59-45 loss to Hill-Murray in which Uhl did not play.

• MAHTOMEDI 64, HASTINGS 59: The Zephyrs ended the game with 10 consecutive points in the final two minutes, rallying to beat the Raiders. Junior forward Courtney LaGoon highlighted the comeback with a basket and two free throws. Liz Keena scored 15 of her game-high 26 points in the second half for Hastings.

• ST. PAUL CENTRAL 68, WOODBURY 46: The Minutemen have been the surprise team in the early stages of the season. Jen ‘Von’Ta Hill scored 15 points, pacing five St. Paul Central players in double figures in its victory over the Class 4A, No. 8 Royals. Woodbury senior guard Michelle Young scored 20 of her game-high 25 points in the first half.

• ANOKA 43, PARK CENTER 39: The Tornadoes put their youth movement on display in a victory over the Pirates. Freshmen post Amber Bray had a game-high 13 points for Anoka, which held a seven-point halftime lead.

• DELASALLE 76, BLAKE 39: Sophomore guard Allina Starr scored 30 points, and the Islanders cruised past the Bears in the Tri-Metro.

• CHASKA 55, BURNSVILLE 54: Sophomore Ellie Thompson’s basket with 6 seconds left gave the Hawks a non-conference victory over the Blaze.

• MINNEAPOLIS SOUTH 62, WAYZATA 55: Tori Rule scored 26 points as the Tigers gradually pulled away from the Trojans in the second half. Marissa Grossfeld had 23 points for Wayzata
