Being the coach of the Hopkins High girls basketball team isn’t as easy as it looks. The Royals entered the Class 4A, Section 6 title game against Minnetonka March 6 with a 28-1 record. However, head coach Brian Cosgriff regarded the game as anything but a slam dunk. In fact, he tossed and turned in bed thinking about Minnetonka.“This game scared me to death,” he said in the aftermath of a 65-35 victory at Osseo High School.
