Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email scores@nbcuni.com


Top performer winner

Marta Forsline, Mesabi East: The freshman finished with her 14th double-double as Mesabi East took care of business to beat Two Harbors 85-63 Feb. 21. Forsline scored 36 points, grabbed 23 rebounds and blocked six shots in the win

Top performer candidates

Sunaja Agara, Hopkins: The senior forward scored 35 points, second-most points of her season, in a conference win over St. Michael-Albertville 104-94 Feb. 21. The last time Agara scored more was 37 points in a 87-80 loss to Providence Academy Jan. 28.

Sonya Potthoff, Mahtomedi: With 31 points, Potthoff had more points by herself than Simley, as Mahtomedi handily beat Simley 73-30 Feb. 21. It was a season-high for the senior guard, who had not scored 30 or more points at all this season.

Audrey Jakway, Mounds Park Academy: Jakway had two games with more than 30 points during the week. In the second game, the senior forward poured in 37 points to help Mounds Park Academy double up St. Paul Academy 68-31 Feb. 24.

Brynn Beffert, Hutchinson: Beffert recorded her second 30-point double-double of the season, scoring 32 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. The senior forward’s performance helped Hutchinson beat Mound Westonka 81-66 Feb. 24.
