Top performer winner

Anna Stromberg, Legacy Christian: With 36 points, Stromberg helped Legacy Christian beat Liberty Classical 94-21 Feb. 16. What added to the junior forward’s performance was her work on the glass as she grabbed 20 rebounds – 15 of which were offensive.

Top performer candidates

Maddyn Greenway, Providence Academy: Not only did Greenway score 60 points for the first time in her career, she also reached the 2,000-point milestone in a 126-94 win over Minnehaha Academy Feb. 17. The freshman guard also had 12 rebounds and 11 assists to complete the triple-double.

Ellie Kuechle, Kimball Area:  Kuechle recorded a double-double in a slightly unconventional manner with 33 points and 13 steals along with five assists to beat Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 60-48 Feb. 14. It was the first time the senior guard scored 30 or more points this season.

Kylan Gerads, Albany: The junior forward dropped 33 points to help Albany secure a road win against Zimmerman Feb. 14, bouncing back after scoring only nine points against the Thunder in the first meeting. The win was the 22nd for the No. 3-2A-ranked Huskies during their 23-1 season.

Regan Juenemann, Duluth Marshall: Juenemann, a sophomore guard, scored 30 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists in a 94-60 win against Cass Lake-Bena Feb. 18. It was the third time Juenemann scored at least 30 points this season.
