Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email scores@nbcuni.com


Top performer winner

Maci Farmer, Jackson County Central: Recording double-doubles has become a habit for Farmer, who now has six on the season. Her fifth was a 35-point, 10-rebound performance as the senior wing led Jackson County Central over Blue Earth 79-35 Jan. 24.

Top performer candidates

Josie Baumgard, Chisholm: Baumgard’s performance led to her outscoring McGregor by herself Jan. 23. The eighth grade center scored a game-high 39 points in a 78-29 win at home to give Chisholm its second of three consecutive wins.

Ivy Lothenbach, St. Croix Prep: The junior guard reached the 30-point mark for the second time of the season, this time to lead St. Croix Prep past Breck 62-42 Jan. 25. Lothenbach scored 31 points with seven made three-pointers and added four steals and three assists.

Aalaya Wilson, Osseo: Wilson came away with a season-high in points in the midst of Osseo’s three game win streak. The senior guard recorded 36 points Jan. 24 during a tight 80-74 Northwest Suburban Conference win against Coon Rapids.

Cally Peterson, St. Francis: The senior forward passed the 30-point mark for the first time this season to lift St. Francis to a road win Jan. 28. Peterson dropped 36 points as she and the Fighting Saints beat Coon Rapids 81-50 for their third-straight win.
