Top performer winner

Shantell Harden, St. Louis Park: Harden’s performance was the difference in St. Louis Park’s 76-54 win over St. Paul Como Park Dec. 17. The Minnesota State-Mankato, commit finished with 38 points, her third game of 30 points or more in her senior season.

Top performer candidates

Tori Oehrlein, Crosby-Ironton: Oehrlein picked up right where she left off last season, doing it all for Crosby-Ironton in a 77-68 win over Wadena-Deer Creek Dec. 12. The freshman came just shy of a triple-double with 39 points, 22 rebounds and nine assists, all season-highs. Oehrlein also played well on the defensive end with four steals.

Jocelyn Land, Holy Family: The Fire had their own do-it-all player on Dec. 13, as Land helped Holy Family secure a tight 60-56 win against Glencoe-Silver Lake. The Butler commit scored a game-high 31 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out three assists and blocked three shots on the defensive end.

Jordan Zubich, Mountain Iron-Buhl: Zubich outscored South Ridge by herself Dec. 15, as her performance propelled Mountain Iron-Buhl to a dominant 80-35 victory. The junior added to her state-leading point total with 39 points and also recorded seven rebounds, six steals and four assists.

Tessa Johnson, St. Michael-Albertville: A career night from Johnson helped St. Michael-Albertville cruise to a 97-70 win in a top-10 matchup at Chaska Dec. 16. The senior, who's committed to South Carolina, scored 51 points and is averaging 26.6 in the Knights’ first five games of the season.
