St. Michael-Albertville’s Tessa Johnson was instrumental in the Knight’s 24-8 season, Class 4A, Section 8 tournament championship and second place finish in the Class 4A state tournament.
She finished the season with 666 total points, 12th in the state, according to stats submitted to MN Girls’ basketball Hub. Johnson scored 24 points in the state quarterfinals against Centennial, 25 points in the semifinal against Roseville Area and 18 points against Hopkins in the final.
