Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Madison Mathiowetz, Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s: The South Dakota State commit dropped 35 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished five assists in a pivotal 69-62 win over Tomahawk Conference rival Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on Jan. 7. Mathiowetz has 406 points on the season — and is a key reason why the Knights lead the league with a 6-0 record and are third in the Class 1A rankings from Minnesota Basketball News.

Top performer candidates

Regan Juenemann, Duluth Marshall: Juenemann notched 38 of Duluth Marshall’s 50 points in a four-point loss at Pine City on Jan. 8. She also grabbed 11 boards in the loss.

Selam Maher, St. Louis Park: Maher helped lead St. Louis Park to an 86-65 victory over New Prague, finishing with 31 points in the Metro West Conference clash.

Olivia Harazin, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial: Harazin’s 30 points was the difference as the Knights routed GHEC-Truman-Martin Luther 81-52 on Jan. 7. The victory was Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial's six consecutive in the Valley Conference play.

Ella Runyon, Hill-Murray: Runyon scored a game-high 27 points in an 82-40 win over South St. Paul on Jan. 7. It was Runyon’s second game of the season with more than 20 points.
