And the winner is... MN Girls' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

See who was voted Top Performer for Feb. 1-6.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer Winner

Ronnie Porter, St. Paul Como Park. The No. 4 team in Minnesota Basketball News' Class 3A rankings from Feb. 3 has held every opponent to under 30 points this season. Porter's efforts have contributed to that feat for St. Paul Como Park (4-0, 4-0) as she snagged 23 steals between two games last week. Her best outing was on Feb. 2 at St. Paul Johnson when the guard accumulated 29 points, 17 assists and 12 steals in a 121-21 win.

Top performer candidates

Nicole Bowlin, Holy Family Catholic. Bowlin found her best form in the previous week in a 74-69 win over Jordan on Feb. 2. Holy Family Catholic's (3-3, 2-2) junior recorded 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and seven steals in the outing.

Ellie Hasz, Pine City. Pine City (8-1, 8-0) was led to two wins during the week with big efforts from their guard. Hasz put in her best performance when facing Hinckley-Finlayson. In the contest on Feb. 2, she generated 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and five steals winning the game 71-48. Pine City has the best record in the Great River Conference.

Tori Oehrlein, Crosby-Ironton. Oehrlein asserted herself in the game at Mesabi East on Feb. 6. In the contest, she mustered 34 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and two steals leading Crosby-Ironton (6-0, 2-0) to its 86-74 triumph. She is averaging 23.3 points and 11.2 rebounds across the first six games.

Abbie Riederer, Minnesota Valley Lutheran. A well rounded performance from Riederer took Minnesota Valley Lutheran (7-1, 6-1) past Springfield 53-49. She posted 27 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in the contest on Feb. 2.
