And the winner is... MN Girls' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Savannah White, DeLaSalle. White's commanding performance fell one block short of a triple double, but her performance pushed DeLaSalle (1-1) past St. Anthony 74-30 on Jan. 19. White's 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocks led to the No. 5-3A Islanders' season-opening win.

Top performer candidates

Sage Ganyo, Mountain Iron-Buhl. Ganyo's gamut of contributions guided her team to a 3-1 start to the season, helping the Rangers to being No. 3 in the Class 1A Minnesota Basketball News rankings from Jan. 20. Her peak performance was against Cass Lake-Bena on Jan. 18, recording 17 points, 10 steals, six assists and three rebounds in the Rangers' 74-64 triumph.

Gianna Kneepkens, Duluth Marshall. Kneepkens has started the season on an impressive scoring run. The Duluth Marshall (4-1) player has scored more than 45 points twice. On Jan. 16, she powered in 51 points along with 20 rebounds, four assists, seven steals and four blocks, helping the No. 7-2A Hilltoppers beat Grand Rapids 73-58.

Sophie Lahti, Pine City. The sophomore padded the stat sheet on the way to No. 10-2A Pine City's (4-0) perfect start this year. On Jan. 21, in a 92-64 victory over Ogilvie, Lahti tallied 30 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and five steals.

Taylor Schuck, Heritage Christian. The guard led Heritage Christian (4-1) to a dominating 63-16 win against North Lakes on Jan. 15, thanks to active hands on the defensive end. Schuck forced 10 steals alongside her recording 24 points, three rebounds and five assists.
