Top games: Rivals Farmington and Rosemount meet in key South Suburban Conference rematch

We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.






Other games to keep an eye on

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown vs. Blooming Prairie, 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11. Two of the top three teams in the Gopher Conference standings tip off in this decisive tilt. No. 8-1A Blooming Prairie (17-2, 10-1) lost the first matchup against No. 7-1A Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (18-4, 10-1) 59-51 on Jan. 10. 

Belle Plaine vs. Waseca, 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13. Belle Blaine (19-2, 11-0) and Waseca (17-5, 8-1) meet in a late regular-season matchup and are two of the potential top seeds in opposite subsections of Class 2A, Section 2.
