Top games: Waconia journeys southwest for potential section playoff preview with undefeated Marshall

We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.






Other games to keep an eye on

Southwest Minnesota Christian vs. Minneota, 4:45 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3. No. 1-1A Minneota squares off with Southwest Minnesota Christian (14-3, 6-2) as the Vikings (20-1, 6-0) build towards defending their Class 1A state championship.

Lakeville North vs. Farmington, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4. These foes from last year's Class 4A, Section 1 championship game get another rematch. Lakeville North (11-8, 8-4) won the title game by two points a season ago, but No. 3-4A Farmington (18-2, 11-1) won the first head-to-head meeting this year — a 78-67 triumph on Dec 17.
