And the winner is...MN Girls' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Abbie Riederer, Minnesota Valley Lutheran. The sophomore guard continues to be a factor for Minnesota Valley Lutheran game in and game out. Riederer opened the week with 29 points in a 72-55 win over GHEC-Truman-Martin Luther on Jan. 13. On Jan. 16, Riederer was back at it again as she knocked down four three-pointers and finished with 26 points in a 78-50 win over Wabasso.

Top performer candidates

Abbie Theusch, Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons. Theusch did it all for her team on Jan. 13. The junior guard helped Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons best Nicollet/Mankato Loyola 76-66 as she tallied 41 points and 10 rebounds to go along with nine assists.

Jenna Guyer, Centennial. Guyer's star gets brighter and brighter as her senior season continues. The junior center returns to this list after delivering a clutch performance with 28 points and 19 rebounds as the Cougars edged Park Center 73-71 in a key Northwest Suburban Conference clash.

Sydney White, Andover. White has been a key cog in the Huskies' offense this season. White delivered a pair of 20-plus points performances this past week, starting with 23 points in a 60-40 win over Champlin Park on Jan. 14. White wrapped up the week with 20 points as Andover eked out a 53-52 win against Anoka two days later.

Juel Skrien, St. Croix Lutheran. Skrien stepped up for the Crusaders this past week as they took on DeLaSalle. The junior led the way with 32 points while knocking down three three-pointers and hitting 11 of 13 free throws. That performance helped St. Croix Lutheran defeat the Islanders 74-65 on Jan. 16.
