Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.
Sara Kottke, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart. Kottke put together two head-turning performances as the senior tallied a pair of double-doubles. The forward began the week with 30 points and 10 rebounds in an 81-54 win over Martin County West on Jan. 7. Then, she put up 22 points to go with 11 rebounds in an 85-23 romp over New Ulm Cathedral on Jan. 10.
Katie Borowicz, Roseau. It would be almost impossible to leave Borowicz off this list after her week on the offensive end of the floor. The junior guard put up a pair of 40-point performances, starting with 44 points in a 66-52 win over Thief River Falls on Jan. 6. Five days later, Borowicz followed it up with 40 points as the Rams defeated Pequot Lakes 75-40.
Haidyn Pitsch, Prior Lake. Pitsch showed why she's such an asset to the Lakers once again this week as she put up 36 points in a 72-66 win over South Suburban Conference rival Lakeville South this past Friday.
Madison Mathiowetz, Sleepy Eye-St. Mary's. Mathiowetz returns to Top Performer poll after a big performance in a 61-43 win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Jan. 7. The sophomore guard added 27 points and 14 rebounds in a winning effort.
Kassandra Caron, Holy Angels. The sophomore guard did not let a disappointing loss to DeLaSalle this past Tuesday slow her down. Caron came back on Jan. 10 with 36 points as Holy Angels bested Fridley 74-51.
