We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.
Other games to keep an eye on
Rochester John Marshall vs. Red Wing, 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20. Both contenders for this season's Big 9 Conference championship, No. 4-3A Red Wing (6-0, 4-0) and Rochester John Marshall (6-1, 5-0) will clash after going toe-to-to with other league opponents on Tuesday.
Wayzata vs. Park Center, 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18. Two of Class 4A's top programs square off in a matchup that could give either No. 2-4A Wayzata (7-0, 0-0) or No. 4-4A Park Center (7-0, 1-0) its first loss of the season.
