And the winner is...MN Girls' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Logan Anderson, Forest Lake. The junior guard had her best individual performance of the season on Dec. 3, as Anderson scored 31 points in the Rangers' 66-59 victory over Suburban East Conference rival Woodbury.

Top performer candidates

Francesca Vascellaro, Holy Angels. The junior guard had a historic week with her 1,000th career point while tallying 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 97-55 blowout of Minnehaha Academy on Dec. 3. Vascallaro then had an encore performance, dropping 36 points and snatching 16 rebounds in an 85-82 loss to Robbinsdale Cooper three days later.

Gianna Kneepkens, Duluth Marshall. Kneepkens had another standout all-around performance in the Hilltoppers' 69-56 defeat of Virginia on Dec. 6, as the junior guard recorded 36 points to go along with 11 rebounds, six assists and six steals.

Paige Bueckers, Hopkins. Bueckers has already established herself as a star who will be remembered for many years to come. The Connecticut commit added to her legacy this past Saturday as she tallied a season-high 31 points in a 77-52 victory over Farmington.

Madison Mathiowetz, Sleepy Eye St. Mary's. Mathiowetz has made her presence known throughout the Knights' unblemished start to the season, including on Dec. 5 when the the sophomore guard had a 28-point, 10-rebound performance in a 60-23 win against Nicollet/Mankato Loyola.
