Hutson commits to Vermont

Hopkins forward won Class 4A state championship last season

Gracia Hutson is a member of a Hopkins High School girls basketball team that won a Minnesota state championship last winter.

She hopes to chase another title with the University of Vermontwhen she arrives next year.
 
The Catamounts recently received a verbal commitment from Hutson, a 6-foot-3 post player from suburban Minneapolis who plays for one of the best prep girls basketball teams in the nation.
