After a slow start that included 0-for-12 first-half shooting by one of Minnehaha Academy’s typically best scorers, the Redhawks came out in the second half and took a double-digit victory over St. Peter.
Third-seeded Minnehaha Academy defeated St. Peter (16-11) 56-37 in the Class 2A quarterfinal game Wednesday at Maturi Pavilion.
“I think we knew we had to hold them. I think we came out really strong,” said senior guard Taytum Rhoades. “It seemed like they were getting a little tired.”
