Roseville at No. 9 Park of Cottage Grove
7:15 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31

The first time these Suburban East Conference rivals met this winter, Park needed every one of star Sydney Lamberty’s game-high 25 points to escape with a 54-53 victory on Dec 20 in Roseville. Lamberty (22.5 ppg) was the only Wolf Pack player in double-figures, while Roseville stayed close behind 21 points from Anita McCoy (7.4 ppg) and 11 and 10, respectively, from Monica Burich (16.4 ppg) and Maria Ascher (13.4 ppg). Park was the more veteran team early this season, as it returned starters Lamberty, Temi Ogunrinde (7.2 ppg) and Annie Williams (6.5 ppg) along with key reserve Carlie Williams (4.9 ppg). Meanwhile, Roseville was trying to replace four starters, including All-Staters Larissa Graham and Jacqlyn Poss. Now that the Raiders are gelling under coach Jeff Crosby, the rematch could be a different result.
