Roseau vs. Proctor

2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8

Very few teams in Class 2A have an offense that can keep pace with Roseau. Averaging 73 points per game, the Rams (16-3, 7-0) haven't lost a game since December and they have taken control of the Northwest Conference standings.

It would be hard not to have a potent offense with standout junior Katie Borowicz on the roster. Averaging 32 points per game, Borowicz comes from an accomplished basketball family. Two of her sisters are now playing college basketball, including Kacie Borowicz, who won last year's Minnesota Miss Basketball award.

However, No. 5-2A Proctor has been heating up, rattling off 13 consecutive victories with its own potent offense that should test Roseau on Saturday.

The Rails (18-1, 4-1) haven't lost since a 47-32 stumble to Hermantown on Dec. 14.

Last Friday, Proctor scored 90 points in a 60-point defeat of Duluth Denfeld. Sam Pogatchnik, Morgan Nylund, Katelyn Marunich and Payton Rodberg each scored 12 or more points in the Rails' triumph.
