Chaska is fresh off its biggest win of the season and hopes to keep its momentum going against challenger New Prague.
After a slow start to the season, Chaska (4-2, 0-0) has rattled off four straight wins, including Friday's 70-57 defeat of No. 9-4A Eden Prairie.
Sophomore Mallory Heyer put up 21 points against Eden Prairie, and she's been a driving force for the Hawks' offense, averaging 18.8 points per game.
Chaska will be challenged by New Prague's defense, which seeks a signature win. The Trojans have limited opposing offenses to just a .417 shooting percentage.
New Prague (6-1, 0-0) also has scorers it can lean on to put points on the scoreboard. Both Amanda Giesen and Emily Russo average more than 15 points per game.
