Roseville vs. Stillwater

*7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5

*Rescheduled from Tuesday, Jan. 29

The two top teams in the Suburban East Conference standings — and two of the best in Class 4A — duel on Tuesday.

Stillwater already defeated Roseville this season, 78-60 on Dec. 14. Alexis Pratt and Sara Scalia led the way, each scoring 24 points. Their play could be key in helping the No. 3-4A Ponies (15-2, 10-0) sweep the regular-season series with the Raiders with a victory on Tuesday.

Another victory over No. 9-4A Roseville would help Stillwater extend its lead atop the Suburban East to 2.5 games and may ease the sting of losing to No. 1 Hopkins and No. 2 Wayzata earlier this season.

The Raiders (16-3, 7-2) are just one loss worse than the Ponies overall, but with seven games left in Suburban East play, they need a win against Stillwater to keep their league title hopes alive.

Roseville will be hoping for a big game from leading scorer Jayda Johnston, who’s averaging 14.3 points per game.
