A tough schedule awaits Wayzata this week, as the Trojans travel to No. 6-4A Stillwater followed by a tilt at No. 4-4A Roseville on Friday.
Jenna Johnson has been Wayzata’s go-to scorer this season, averaging 16.6 points per game for the No. 2-4A Trojans (7-0, 0-0). Her season high was 25 points, which came in an 84-23 win over St. Francis on Nov. 29.
After losing 78-60 to Suburban East Conference leader Stillwater last Friday, Roseville (5-1, 1-1) will be looking to rebound against Henry Sibley on Tuesday before hosting Wayzata.
Jayda Johnston scored 18 points in the loss to Stillwater, nearly four more points than her season average (14.1). She’ll need another solid performance on Friday, along with help from her teammates, if the Raiders are going to pull off the upset.
