Two teams — Sauk Centre and Roseau — had multiple representatives make this year's all-state team.
Senior guards Maesyn Thiesen and Kelsey Peschel were the two Mainstreeters named to the team. They helped Sauk Centre to a perfect 30-0 record heading into the state tournament. Thiesen comes into the tournament averaging 12.4 points per game while Peschel averages 13.3.
The Rams, meanwhile, have a pair of sisters — Kacie and Katie Borowicz — on the all-state team. Kacie, a junior guard, helped Roseau to the Class 2A tournament and No. 3 seed by averaging 26.8 points per game. Katie posted 19.4 points per game as a freshman.
One of the top scorers to be named to the honorable mention team is Glencoe-Silver Lake senior guard McKenna Monahan. She averaged 27.4 points per game and was one of the top scorers in the state this season as the Panthers advanced to the Class 2A, Section 2 semifinals.
