Mankato Loyola vs. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva
7:15 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22

Mankato Loyola guard Lindsey Theuninck came into the season with 2,539 career points and she’s adding to that number like the turning odometer of a long-haul semi.

Theuninck has steadily delivered for the No. 9-1A Crusdaders (6-0) as a six-year varsity player, including leading the team to two state tournament trips. The South Dakota commit is averaging 27.8 ppg and has eclipsed the 30-point mark twice this season.

Carlie Wagner played a similar role for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva not too long ago. She now stars at Minnesota, but her sisters, twins Maddie and Marnie, continue to lead the Panthers.

Maddie (18 ppg) and Marnie (10.3 ppg) have helped NRHEG (4-1, 3-0) to four straight wins while Betsy Schoenrock has given the team an inside threat with 15.3 ppg and 7 rpg.
