Eagan at Apple Valley
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5

After getting blown out by No. 7-4A Minnetonka 92-67 in its season-opener, Apple Valley has bounced back nicely and will try to continue a modest three-game winning streak in a South Suburban Conference matchup with Eagan.

The Eagles (7-2, 2-1) also took a 67-49 loss to No. 1-4A Eastview on Dec. 18, but junior Lyndsey Robson has Apple Valley trending in the right direction.

Robson, a UW-Green Bay commit who started the season averaging 10.2 ppg, has broken out in the Eagles' past five games, where she's posted 20.2 ppg.

The Wildcats (7-3, 1-1) are led by seniors Tamira McLemore (14.5 ppg) and Taylor Holm (10.9 ppg) and picked up three wins at the St. Olaf Holiday Hoops Classic last week.
