7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30

After falling to No. 4-4A Rochester Mayo, No. 1-4A Eastview and No. 5-4A St. Michael-Albertville during a brutal stretch of its early season schedule, Minnetonka (4-3) picked up a big 64-63 win over Eden Prairie to kick off Lake Conference play and get back above .500.

The No. 9-4A Skippers' main threats are Wisconsin commit Courtney Fredrickson (16.3 ppg) and UW-Milwaukee commit Lizzie Odegard (13.2 ppg).

Park Center (5-2) also took a few lumps with losses to Eden Prairie and Osseo after wins over No. 5-4A St. Michael-Albertville and St. Paul Como Park.

Florida commit Mikayla Hayes has the No. 10-4A Pirates back on track with two straight wins and is averaging 14.9 ppg this season.
