Lakeville South at Bloomington Kennedy
7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11

Two teams with something to prove - for different reasons - highlight another inter-class matchup this week.

Lakeville South (1-0) kicked off the season at home with a 68-46 drubbing of Eden Prairie.

The Cougars return their top two scorers from last season’s 13-14 team and they put on a show against the Eagles.

Katie Guentzel scored 22 and Brianna Miller added 20 in the season opener. Last year, the pair averaged 9.6 and 13.4 ppg, respectively.

Bloomington Kennedy is searching for some answers after starting the seaosn with four losses.

Lashayla Wright-Ponder, a South Dakota commit, is still scoring at a high clip - 22.3 ppg - but the No. 5-3A Eagles (0-4) have yet to find any defense.
