Mountain Iron-Buhl lost to Goodhue 69-60 at the Breakdown Sports Tip Off Classic.

While Chelsea Mason scored 22 points and Mya Buffetta had 11, five other players combined for just 22 points for the No. 1-1A Rangers against the No. 2-1A Wildcats. Mountain Iron-Buhl (2-1) will be looking to bounce back after a tough early season test.

Esko (1-1) has Ava Gonsorowski, a 5-foot-3 guard, back after averaging 10 points as a sophomore. The No. 10-2A Eskomos lost to Hermantown 63-51 on Dec. 3.
