Andover at Centennial
7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 9

A solid game against a key league rival in Centennial could bring Andover into the conversation about the best teams in the competitive Northwest Suburban Conference.

Andover (2-0) has six players averaging at least seven points per game, giving the Huskies a balanced and multi-faceted attack. Sophomore guard Jolene Daninger is the leader, averaging 11.5 ppg through two games.

Centennial will need freshman forward Sydney Stapleton (11.0 ppg) to continue scoring to help take some of the load off senior guard Jaycie Gerding (17.5 ppg).

The 5-foot-10 Stapleton could become a presence low in the offensive zone and give the No. 9-4A Cougars (1-1) the balance they need to become an elite team.
