Girls basketball coaches association releases 2018 Miss Minnesota Basketball first cut list

The organization identified 34 girls in its first watch list of candidates for the award that goes to the state's top senior.

The Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association released its first cut list for the 2018 Miss Minnesota Basketball Award on Tuesday. 

The organization plans to release its next watch list before the state tournament in March, while the names of the finalists published after the state tournament. The 2018 Miss Basketball winner will be announced at the All-Star Banquet on Friday, April 6 in Northfield.
