Allie Rengel scored 22 points as No. 3 seed Sartell defeated No. 6 seed Sauk Rapids 57-44 in the first round of the Class 3A, Section 8 playoffs Tuesday night at Sartell High School.
Morgan Haider added 11 for the Sabres. Junior Cori Becker led the Storm with 12 points.
Sartell (21-4) takes on No. 2 seed Alexandria (22-3) in the semifinals at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at St. Cloud State’s Halenbeck Hall.
